Carlos Álvarez-Hevia


Carlos Álvarez-Hevia González (Mieres, 1992) is founder and CEO of Bodegas Viazález.

In 2017 he founded Bodegas Viazález, with a very well-defined objective: to produce exclusive and quality wines from the passion and respect for the land.

The experience acquired in other activities, the constant learning and surrounding oneself with the best wine experts, has made us have a global and differentiating vision of the sector applicable to wine.
Jorge Álvarez-Hevia


He joined Bodegas Viazález in 2018 with the aim of promoting the corporate culture and identity of the business brand.

Jorge has a degree in Law from the University of Oviedo and has extensive experience in the development of Good Corporate Governance Policies.

He is currently in charge of the design and implementation of the Corporate Social Responsibility Policy, always seeking to align business values and principles with good social and environmental practices.
Juan Álvarez-Hevia

Director comercial

Juan Álvarez-Hevia, specialist in Digital Commerce from the prestigious Digital Business School The Valley. Master in Digital Marketing and E-commerce from ESIC/ICEMD

Since 2021, Juan is in charge of the online sales strategy opening new national and international markets through specialized Marketplace and E-commerce.
Fermin Uriah

Technical Director

Fermin Uria joins Bodegas Viazález in 2018 as technical director. He is a Chemical Engineer from the University of Oviedo and specialized in oenology from the University of Palencia.

From 2008 to 2010, he was the technical director of the business group Dominio de Tares.

From 2010 to the present, Fermín led numerous projects in the area of El Bierzo and Ribera del Duero, such as Bodegas Gancedo (D.O. BIERZO), Bodegas Peñalba López (D.O. RIBERA DEL DUERO) and Bodegas y Viñedos Merayo (D.O. BIERZO), of which he is the current technical director.

At the same time, he leads a personal project of signature wines, under the brand Bodegas Firmo.
Gonzalo Quintana

Marketing and Communication director

Gonzalo joined Bodegas Viazález in September 2018, in order to develop an innovative and current strategy in terms of digital communication.

Gonzalo specializes in Digital Marketing studying MMD at ESIC/ICEMD and teaches at numerous digital business schools.

He combines his two passions for more than 10 years, teaching and digital marketing.

Its strength is programmatic buying – RTB and display and social advertising through digital media and social networks.
